Simma Africa Creative Arts Foundation is a youth-led feminist membership organization founded by Lesbian, Intersex and Transgender youth in 2016.
SAF is a registered non profit in Uganda
We are determined to challenge the cultural, social, legal and economic oppression's imposed on LBTIQ Refugee Youth and Womxn in Uganda.
SAF is guided by Feminist Principles.
Our main goal
is to use Creative and Digital Arts as a tool to advocate for the promotion and protection
of human rights of LBTIQ persons and to deepen the conversation on Sustainable
Developmental Goals
Simma Africa's mission is to encourage creativity and production throughout the value chain of the creative industries, thereby helping to ensure access to decent jobs and to sustain-ably improve living conditions of Lesbian Bisexual Intersex and Transgender Female Designers and Digital artists and their immediate environment.
